Flavor Flav celebrates four years of being sober in a major way.

In a video he shared on his social media, the iconic rapper celebrated World Mental Health Day and said, “October is an important month for my mental health. Next week, I am 4 years sober from alcohol. And today is mental health awareness day. My mental health is an important part of my sobriety journey.”

He continued, “I talk to a therapist. In fact, I talk to two. I got a crazy schedule and travels, my manager recommended trying out Sonia- an AI therapist that has been there for me like Janet Jackson says- Any Time, Any Place.”

Flav also said he would like to help some fans by gifting them subscriptions to help with their mental health journey. “I always like to be the first to do something revolutionary. This is something special that has the ability to help so many people,” he ended. “I reached out to the Sonia team to cover the cost of subscriptions for anyone who signs up today. Help me help you.”

This isn’t the first time that Flavor Flav has done his part to help others in need. Last May, he vowed to pay for the U.S. Water Polo Team to the Paris Olympics, after he responded to a plea from three-time gold medalist, Maggie Steffens.

This is an amazing thing for Flavor Flav to do. What are your thoughts on this?
