Roger Mayweather, legendary trainer, and uncle to Floyd Mayweather has reportedly passed away at the age of 58 according to TMZ.
Roger had once held the WBA and lineal super featherweight titles in the past, along with the WBC light welterweight title in addition to being a trainer.
He became a viral sensation as he trained Floyd during his famous fight against Zab Judah in April of 2006 where he defended his nephew and entered the ring between rounds after a low blow by Judah resulting in both fighters trainers going after each other.
According to reports, Roger Mayweather’s health had been failing in recent months.
This news come days following the passing of Floyd’s ex-girlfriend, and mother to his three children, Josie Harris.
