Oprah Winfrey is bringing her signature “AHA” moments to Las Vegas. The media mogul will headline a new immersive experience at Sphere in April 2027. The production, titled “Oprah Winfrey’s AHA,” will combine music, storytelling, poetry and visual art.

The limited engagement is scheduled for April 2-4, 2027. Four performances will take place during the three-day run.

The two-hour experience will feature Winfrey live onstage alongside several acclaimed artists. Grammy-winning musician Jacob Collier, poet Ocean Vuong, musician Ajeet and gospel singer Wintley Phipps are among the announced guests.

Sphere Entertainment Co. announced the project Sept. 14. The company described “AHA” as a visual and musically immersive experience.

Winfrey will serve as executive producer for the project. Live Nation will present the production.

“‘AHA’ is a dream that came to me as I sat in awe at the opening night of U2 at the Sphere,” Winfrey said in a statement.

She continued, “Creating this experience has felt like the culmination of what I’ve spoken about and worked towards my entire life.”

Oprah Found Inspiration at the Sphere

The idea for “AHA” began after Winfrey attended U2’s opening performance at Sphere.

The experience reportedly changed how she viewed the venue’s possibilities. Winfrey envisioned using its technology for something beyond a traditional concert.

“I have a team of collaborating artists … at the top of their game,” Winfrey told CBS News.

Winfrey also explained why Sphere became the right location for the project.

“This feeling came over me, this could be the most remarkable experience if you were to bring people together in harmony, in peace, and allow them to feel aha moments, allow them to experience awe and wonder through this medium of the sphere,” she said.

The production will use Sphere’s massive wraparound LED display. Its immersive sound system will also play a major role.

The venue’s technology allows audiences to experience large-scale visuals across the interior screen. Other sensory elements can also be incorporated into Sphere productions.

A Star-Studded Creative Team

Winfrey is assembling an extensive creative team for the production.

Oscar-nominated composer Max Richter will provide musical direction and original music. Grammy-winning musician and vocal director Jason White will also contribute.

Grammy-nominated composer and electronic artist Jon Hopkins is part of the project. Oscar-winning screenwriter Tarell Alvin McCraney is contributing writing.

McCraney won an Academy Award for co-writing “Moonlight.” Artist Es Devlin will create original works for the experience.

Director Ethan Tobman and producer Baz Halpin are also involved. Tobman has worked on major productions, including Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour.”

The lineup reflects Winfrey’s interest in bringing different artistic disciplines together. The show will combine live performance with visual storytelling.

Sphere says the experience will explore themes of light, sound, nature and shared humanity. The production is designed to encourage audiences to reflect on their own lives.

Winfrey’s longtime “AHA” concept has been closely associated with moments of personal discovery. That idea has appeared throughout her work in television, publishing and live events.

She ended “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in 2011 after 25 seasons. However, she has continued producing television, film, podcasts and live experiences.

“AHA” marks another major chapter in that career.

For now, the production is scheduled for one weekend only. The four performances are set for April 2 at 8 p.m., April 3 at 8 p.m., and April 4 at noon and 6 p.m.

Tickets start at $145. General ticket sales are scheduled to begin Sept. 25 at 10 a.m. PT.

Presale registration and travel packages are currently available through the production’s official channels.
