Gizelle Bryant speaks on marriage and reveals that she is unsure if she will ever get married again.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star has dealt with her fair share of challenges within her previous relationships. She was once married to Pastor Jamal Bryant, from 2002 to 2009, who she shares three daughters with. The two ended up getting a divorce due to his infidelity.
Bryant is currently on a new reality show, a dating series called, “Love Hotel,” and revealed that she’s not keen on making things official via a reality show. “I think maybe a- what do you call those things? A commitment ceremony. Yes, that’s not legally binding. It could be like a wedding of sorts,” she said in a recent interview.
Although she is unsure about marriage, she is sure about finding love and being intentional with her search of finding Mr. Right. “I’m now at a phase of life, let’s say, with dating that I… Typically in the past, the fans have seen me not really care,” she said. “ I was kind of like willy-nilly, all over the place, but no more. I want to be able to find my guy and really be in a committed relationship.”
On the premiere episode of the show, Bryant went on a date with Jason “Jay” Bramble and told him the qualities that she’s looking for in a man are transparency, accountability, and to be sexually proficient.” Ultimately, she said that he wasn’t the right guy for her.
In 2023, Gizelle Bryant dated Jason Cameron, an alum of Winter House, and called their relationship a “situationship.” She said, “Jason is a breath of fresh air in my life, and I’m happy that we are in our situationship.”
While filming season 8 of RHOP, she also revealed that she needed someone to have fun with. “Mama’s gotta live, you know? Mama’s been a mama for a long time, but I gotta live, I got to do my own thing. And I did run into this guy named Jason. And he’s a young, hot thing. A little tenderoni.”
However, their relationship didn’t go anywhere and in October 2024, she said that “There is no update. We’re still friends.”
