In the wake of the Diddy’s multiple lawsuits, calls to Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove his star have spiked.

According to TMZ, a Hollywood Chamber spokesperson told the outlet the organization is powerless when it comes to removing stars after they are cemented. The Chamber added removing Diddy’s star wasn’t a discussion for them.

The Chamber said, while it has the authority to nominate star recipients, manufacture and install stars upon city approval. and conduct the Walk of Fame installation ceremony, it lacks the authority to remove them.

It appears Diddy’s star will continue to shine bright after seven civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and other misdeeds.

On May 2, 2008, Sean “Diddy” Combs was honored with the 2,362nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Actor Jamie Foxx was on hand to introduce Combs as his star was revealed.

“He throws the best party you’ve ever seen in your entire life,” said Foxx, who led dozens of people in a chant of “Diddy! Diddy! Diddy!” and rapped out famous choruses of the artist’s songs.

“This is big. This is legendary,” Foxx told the music label intern-turned-entertainment mogul. “And they will never be able to take this away from you.”

A lavish party was thrown for the Diddy’s honor at billionaire Ron Burkle‘s sprawling Beverly Hills estate that Friday.

“It’s also like my coming-out party here in Hollywood,” Combs told AP. “I don’t have nothing to hide about that. If I’m going to come someplace, I’m going to make some noise, and you’re going to know I’m here.”

Diddy called it an “intimate 250-person party” with “just very very close friends and family and people that I know throughout the industry.”
