Jagged Edge’s Brandon Casey has revealed that he’s been involved in a severe car accident. He is currently in the ICU at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
On Tuesday (July 16), the singer shared the news on social media, thanking the hospital staff for saving his life. Casey sustained multiple injuries including a broken neck, ribs, scalp lacerations, and a skull fracture.
In the caption he wrote, “I have to send a big thank you to @grady.hospital after being in ICU for five days I know the legendary Grady Trauma Center is everything it’s said to Be the Best in the country y’all saved my life, and I’m forever grateful..”
He continued, “I’m so Thankful to all u ladies who took care of me, nursed me fed me encouraged me Thank you from the bottom of my heart the most sincere Thanku I can conjure up I know people wanna know so here it is: Broken neck 5 broke ribs skull fracture scalp lacerations and a bunch of pain all over my body but ima be good I promise yall God got me it’s like sumthin tryna take me off this planet and god keep tellin em nope not him not yet … all praises to the most high most awesome most wonderful God Thanku lord!!!! From your loyal soldier.”
Although he’s doing well, this isn’t the first car accident. In September 2023, he revealed that he was in serious car accident and shared a photo of his totaled car. “When u know god got u through it you gotta say Thank u, u gotta feel gratitude not just speak it Thank you, Father, I know I wouldn’t be here without ur grace and mercy I’ll prolly never be the same but I’m so grateful I’m here Thanku Jesus!!!!”
