Janet Jackson had New York City in frenzy when she hit the stage in Harlem in for Harlem Week festival. The pop icon stopped by to promote and celebrate the release of her brand new single ‘Made for Now’ featuring Daddy Yankee.
The rain did not stop fans from cheering and chanting the singer’s name as she waved to the crowd on 135th Street and St Nicholas.

Jackson was recognized this year as part of the 2018 Harlem Week theme, “Women Transforming Our World: Past, Present and Future.” The ‘All for You’ singer was honored with two special awards. She received a proclamation award from the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce presented by Senator Brian Benjamin and an honor from the MTA.
