Janet Jackson and Maxwell are the latest topic of discussion after they were seen holding hands in London.
Over the weekend, the two singers attended the 1,500th performances of Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre in London’s West End. A now-viral video shows them walking into the building hand in hand.
Jackson’s last relationship was her marriage to Wissam Al Mana, which lasted for five years. She was also married to René Elizondo Jr. and James DeBarge. In a previous interview, she joked about how many times she’s been married, saying, “How many times have I been married now? Three, I think.” She also spoke about being single.
“I know that if someone were to come along, even if I didn’t recognize it, I guarantee you my friends would shake the s**t out of me and say, ‘What are you doing?!’” she said. “But I think I’m seeing it through different lenses now. I think I am breaking that pattern.”
On the other hand, Maxwell has never been married, but he has been in relationships with actress Julissa Bermudez and model Selita Ebanks. In an interview he did in 2014, he spoke on the idea of marriage and said that he did want to get married and have a child.
“This year is really about the people, it’s really about focusing on putting out the music, and taking myself to another level in life,” he said. “Hopefully getting married, having kids, the whole thing… I mean, it’s not my ovaries, so I can’t really plan that, but that would be great.”
