Global superstar, Janet Jackson showed some sisterly love with a throwback photo honoring their birthdays.
Janet, 59, posted a picture of herself alongside sisters Rebbie Jackson, 75, and La Toya Jackson, 69, as children. “I miss you both tremendously and love you incredibly!!!! Have an amazing special day!!! 😘😘😘 your little sister 🥰,” the singer captioned the Instagram post Thursday, May 29.
Rebbie Jackson, born on May 29, 1950 and LaToya Jackson, born May 29, 1956, are the oldest and fifth children of the legendary Jackson family.
While Janet and her brothers garnered global acclaim spanning decades, both La Toya and Rebbie are stars in their own right. Rebbie toiled in the industry, mainly in the background, before being signed to Columbia Records and releasing her debut album, 1984’s Centipede. La Toya centered show biz in the ’70s alongside her brothers and sisters before embarking on a solo career in the ’80s.
There are seven living Jackson siblings in total: Rebbie Jackson, Jackie Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, La Toya Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Randy Jackson and Janet Jackson.
Tito Jackson died in 2024 and Michael Jackson died in 2009.
