Fans have not let go of the possibility that Jennifer Hudson and Common are dating, and now the two are reigniting those flames. The pair were spotted holding hands at a performance at Joe’s Pub theater in New York City. The two walked into the venue together, seemingly in great spirits, holding hands together.
After the two were spotted together Hudson made a special appearance on CBS Mornings and gave some insight into her dating life. When the show’s anchor, Gayle King asked if she was hapy, Hudson was all smiles.
“I am very happy,” Hudson replied. “With someone who shall remain nameless.”
King’s co-host Nate Burleson then asked, “So you’re booed up?”
“Booed up? I think it’s more sophisticated than booed up,” Hudson responded.
In August, Hudson addressed the rumors in an interview with TMZ. “Rumors say a lot of things. But he’s a beautiful man, I will give you that. That’s for certain,” she said.
Although the claims were sparked back in 2022 when it was announced that the two would be working on a film together, Hudson never shyed away from addressing them.
In September 2022, Hudson spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the rumors. “People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel,” she saide. “We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments.”
