It appears “Bennifer” has reportedly come to an end.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who tied the knot in 2022, are seemingly headed for a split after not being spotted together in months. The couple was last pictured together in March when they went for lunch at Cecconi on Easter Sunday.
The divorce rumors come after the release of Lopez’s three-part $20 million love letter to Affleck, expressed through the musical sci-fi film This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, her single “This Is Me… Now” and Amazon Prime documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told.
In recent months, Lopez has been seen solo at several public appearances. She previously sent rumor mills into overdrive when she appeared alone for her Met Gala co-chairing duties on May 6.
It is speculated that Lopez’s solo outings may be due to Affleck reportedly moving out of their home.
“Ben Affleck has hit a breaking point with Jennifer Lopez and has moved out of the home they share,” a source told In Touch Weekly. “‘The writing is on the wall — it’s over,’ the insider dishes. ‘They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!’”
The insider added, “He’s focusing on his work and his kids now. Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
The couple first got together in the early 2000s and became one of Hollywood’s most talked-about pairs. Wedding plans were set for 2003, but days before the ceremony they called it off, citing intense media scrutiny as a significant factor.
