Former couple, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, are at the center of dating rumors yet again.
The two music artists were spotted hanging out in Atlanta this past weekend at the One Music Festival in Piedmont Park.
Jackson was among the headliners of the Festival, where she reconnected with her old flame. The singer and megaproducer’s relationship spanned seven years, starting in 2002 and finishing in 2009. In her “Janet Jackson” documentary on Lifetime, Dupri admitted that his unfaithfulness contributed to their breakup.
Following the festival, a live stream showed Dupri and the pop star at his So So Def studio with Nelly and Ashanti, who recently began dating again after a 10-year hiatus, and several others.
In the footage below, Jackson and Dupri were seen chilling together, with Dupri enjoying a hookah while Jackson sat cozily close to him. At the same time, the duo bobbed their heads to The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Big Poppa.”
X users replied to the video surfacing on the platform that seeing Ashanti and Nelly and Jackson and Dupri gave “spin the block” vibes.
“Everybody want that ol thang,” wrote another person, as a third suggested that “Janet is a businesswoman, that’s all it’s been. JD probably thought it was something more. She’s a hustler, and I’m not mad!”.
Dupri previously made a surprise appearance during Jackson’s set on her Together Again Tour, sparking rumors of the former couple getting back together again. Dupri shut those rumors down.
