Jermaine Jackson has revealed that a Michael Jackson Museum stationed in Monaco is in the works.

On Wednesday (Dec 3) during The Monegasque magazine’s Christmas gala, Jermaine announced ambitious plans to honor the King of Pop with a museum.  Jackson Museum aims to celebrate the artistic legacy of his brother, Michael Jackson, as well as the wider Jackson family.

The museum will reportedly feature over 120 original paintings and nearly 200 total pieces of art, according to Jermaine. He hopes to showcase his brother’s visual arts, a side the public rarely got to see. Altogether, the project is said to involve approximately 400 pieces from both Michael and other members of the Jackson family.

As MJ Vibe reports, the initiative is reportedly backed by Jackson Family Legacy Investments, and is said to include rare collaborative works such as pieces attributed to both Michael Jackson and Andy Warhol—most notably a co-signed portrait of Marilyn Monroe. Dr. Louis Niang, a specialist in international business law, has publicly estimated the value of the art collection at $1.6 billion.

In partnership with Luiz Costa Macambira, a longtime Monaco resident, the future Jackson Museum promises to be far more than a traditional exhibition space.  Jermaine mentioned that the concept would be vibrant hybrid between immersive show and cultural museum.

Still in the scouting phase, the exact location remains under wraps, but Jermaine confirmed that the Riviera is firmly in his sights after five years of quiet preparation.

Prior to the grand opening of the museum, Jermaine teased the possibility of a world-preview exhibition in Monaco within or before 2027. This will give fans a sneak-peek before the full museum takes shape.
