Yet another Hollywood couple has filed for divorce.
British model & actress, Jodie Turner-Smith, is ending her marriage with Canadian actor, Joshua Jackson.
According to TMZ, “irreconcilable differences” was cited as the reason in the filing which also lists September 13, 2023 as the date of separation.
A prenuptial agreement is in place and it’s reported that Turner-Smith – who is represented by divorce powerhouse Laura Wasser – is requesting joint custody of their three-year-old daughter Juno.
The couple met during Jackson’s birthday in 2018. The two privately tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their first child together the following year.
In an interview with Buzzfeed earlier this year, Jackson said that he initially did not see himself getting married or having kids, but that he and Jodie would “spend every moment together and find reasons to be in other cities together at the same time” when they first met.
“Six months [after the proposal], she was pregnant, and we were on our way. And now we have this beautiful baby who is literally the manifestation of that love. It is impossible for me to look into the face of my child without feeling love for my wife,” he continued.
Turner-Smith wants to take spousal support off the table for both her and Joshua.
There’s no prenup in place.
