As the world is still mourning the death of John Amos, his cause of death has been revealed.

Reports say that the actor died of congestive heart failure according to his death certificate. It has also been revealed that Amos was cremated nine days after his death. Amos died on August 21st, however, his death wasn’t confirmed until Tuesday, October 1st.

On the death certificate, the actor’s son, K.C., was listed as the informant, meaning he was the person who told the county about his father’s death. The death certificate states that no autopsy was performed. After the cremation, K.C. allegedly has possession of his father’s ashes.

Earlier, we reported that John Amos’ daughter, Shannon, found out about his death in the media when her brother posted it on social media.

Shannon had once accused her brother of elder abuse, however, the claim was dismissed by authorities.
