In a series of sharp remarks, Vice President Kamala Harris took aim at former President Donald Trump, labeling him “unfit to serve” in any future presidential term. Speaking during a Fox News interview on October 16, Harris underscored her belief that Trump poses a “huge risk for America,” calling him both “unstable” and “dangerous.”

Kamala Harris Views on Trump

Harris pointed to Trump’s repeated inflammatory rhetoric, which she argues threatens the democratic principles of the United States. “He has talked about turning the American military on the American people,” Harris stated. “This is a democracy, and in a democracy, a president should be able to handle criticism without resorting to extreme measures like threatening to lock people up for disagreeing with him.”

Her remarks reflect a broader campaign strategy as the 2024 election approaches. At a rally in Pennsylvania, Harris played clips of Trump referring to political opponents as “the enemy within,” a phrase he recently used at rallies and interviews to describe his critics. Harris warned, “A second Trump term would be a huge risk for America.” She added, “People are exhausted with someone who professes to be a leader, while spending full-time demeaning and engaging in personal grievances.”

Harris’s campaign has released an advertisement titled The Enemy Within, featuring ominous footage of Trump alongside warnings from former officials in his administration. Olivia Troye, a former national security adviser, shared in the ad, “I remember the day he suggested we shoot people on the streets.” Harris amplified this concern, noting how the former president’s authoritarian tendencies would be unchecked in a second term.

With just weeks until Election Day, Harris emphasized that her presidency would differ significantly from Trump’s and even President Biden’s. “Like every new president, I will bring my own experiences, ideas, and fresh leadership,” she concluded.
