Television host and former “Queer Eye” star Karamo Brown is firmly dismissing rumors that he has undergone cosmetic surgery, saying his appearance is entirely “real.” The 45-year-old spoke out during a Nov. 2 appearance on the Watch What Happens Live talk show. The episode coincided with his birthday.

“I wish we would stop commenting on people’s photos. It’s ridiculous and tacky,” Brown said to host Andy Cohen. “The way people comment on my photos — [they say] I’ve had every plastic surgery. I’ve had everything… They’ve told me I had facelifts, nose jobs…”

He added, “Thank you, but it’s all real.”

Karamo Brown Addressing Cosmetic-Procedure Speculation

When asked directly whether he has ever had plastic surgery, Brown said he has not. “I wish I did. I want some. I ain’t gonna lie to y’all, the minute I get some work done, I’m gonna tell all of y’all,” he said. He emphasized that the accusations are unfounded.

During the same segment, Brown acknowledged that while he has not had surgery, he does selectively edit his social-media photos. “I do edit them because I like to smooth out my eyes,” he admitted. “But I think we should just stop commenting on people’s photos, period.” He called the scrutiny “ridiculous and tacky.”

Brown’s remarks came on the day he turned 45, and he marked the milestone with friends. He celebrated with activities like indoor racing and laser-tag.

Despite his denial, some social-media users remained skeptical, speculating that Brown may have had non-surgical procedures like fillers or Botox. One viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Karamo mustn’t count dermal fillers as plastic surgery … Otherwise his face deserves a segment on the show.”
