It’s been a year since Shannon Sharpe’s interview with Katt Williams took the internet by storm.
According to TheJasmineBrand, the former NFL player has welcomed Williams back to his leather seats.
In November, Sharpe appeared on Nightcap with Chad Ochocinco to reflect on the interview’s one-year anniversary. At the time, he hinted that a follow-up interview would possibly release on January 3.
“There’s a possibility that you might hear the haymakers very, very soon,” Sharpe told Ochocinco with a sly grin.
He added, “I can tell you this, he’s been writing more material… January 3rd, 2025, is right around the corner. That’s all I’m going to say about that.”
During the viral interview, the comedian aired out several celebrities and declared 2024 “the age of truth.” The celebrities he put on blast included Kanye West, Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey, Diddy, Kevin Hart, Jonathan Majors, and Tyler Perry, among others.
During the pair’s sit down, Williams said at around the 15:40 minute mark, “I came in this business saying I was going to expose. When I talked about Michael Jackson, when I talked about R. Kelly, they canceled me for these things because why would you talk about another Black dude?”
“Race is not where the line is drawn. It’s God’s side and the other side, and we don’t care nothing about the other side, period. All of these big dick deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It’s up for all of them, it don’t matter if you Diddy or whoever you is.” Williams added, “All lies will be exposed.”
