Keke Palmer will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Taking to Instagram, Palmer shared her excitement about the latest milestone in her career.
Y’all… when I say I cannot believe the phone call I just got. I’M GETTING A STAR ON THE WALK OF FAME!!!” Palmer said in the video. “Thank you so much to the @hollywoodchamberofcommerce, my team, and the people that have built me up and helped me get to this incredible place. And my family, that has worked so hard my whole life for this incredible honor; this star belongs to all of us!!!!
Peter Roth, Walk of Fame Selection Chairman, lauded the 2027 class in a statement.
“The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is proud to welcome the Class of 2027. To one of the most enduring symbols of achievement in entertainment. These 32 extraordinary individuals have each made a lasting impact on audiences around the world through their talent, creativity, and dedication to their craft. We are honored to recognize their remarkable contributions,” Roth said. “ And I look forward to celebrating them as they take their place in Hollywood history.”
Ron Frierson announced the honorees at a press conference about the 2027 Walk of Fame class at Funko Hollywood.
“This class continues the proud legacy of the Walk of Fame,” Frierson said. “This year’s honorees reflect the breadth, diversity and imagination of the entertainment community. Performers whose voices moved us, storytellers who expanded our view of the world, visionaries who brought unforgettable characters to life and trailblazers whose influence will be felt for generations to come.”
THE 2027 CLASS
Along with Palmer, Idris Elba, Kate Hudson, Delroy Lindo, and a historic double ceremony for sisters Elle and Dakota Fanning. Also, Pedro Pascal, Lisa Kudrow, Karol G, Lil Wayne, Linkin Park, The Ramones, and Jimmie Johnson.
