Kelly Rowland has always been very supportive of her former Destiny’s Child member, Beyoncé. Now she’s extending that support to her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
In an interview with E!, the singer shared how proud she is of the young prodigy for her work on her mother’s Renaissance Tour.
“I’m very proud,” Rowland said to the outlet. “She works very freaking hard, period. But how could she not, you know? She sees her mother in action and she sees her father in action and how they apply everything, hard work to everything that they do.”
Carter made her debut in the entertainment world when she appeared on Beyoncé’sBlack Is King project. She even blended her vocals on Brown Skin Girls, which won several awards, including a grammy. This made Carter one of the youngest winners ever of a Grammy award.
Rowland has her own children, Titan and Noah. She said to the outlet that her group of friends who are also mothers, inspire her and uplift her daily.
“I have a really great tribe from my sisters of Destiny’s Child, of course Ciara, La La ,” she noted. “It’s very beautiful and wild that we’re all having babies around the same time and growing up together as mothers. And my friends who are like family as well and who have older kids and are able to actually prep me. I’m like, ‘Guys, what does 8 look like? Or what is 9?’”
Kelly Rowland had the opportunity to watch Beyoncé and Carter in action at the Renaissance Tour stop in London. The tour is expected to wrap up in Kansas City in October.
