Alternative R&B star, Khalid is releasing his latest project on Friday Dec 6.

The album, which originally debuted on Aug. 2, features lush harmonies and minimalist, airy rhythms. Over the past few weeks, Khalid has teased the deluxe edition, hinting at several exciting collaborations.

The release date coincides with the unveiling of his forthcoming single, ‘Missing in Action,’ with GRAMMY-nominated songstress Chloe Bailey.

The expanded edition will include six new tracks, including the singles “Make It Up To You,” featuring Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star Ayra Starr, “Personal,” a collaboration with Normani, and “MIA,” featuring Chloe Bailey.

“Personal” acts as Khalid and Normani’s second single together. They previously recorded “Love Lives” together, which dropped in 2018 and was a Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit.

Sincere is Khalid’s third full-length studio album, following 2019’s Free Spirit, and showcases 16 new songs including “Please Don’t Fall In Love With Me,” “Adore U,” “Ground,” and his latest single, “Heatstroke.”

On  instagram, Khalid called Sincere a “return to form” and said of the new music, “I believe this album will touch and impact many of you, because it still impacts me when I listen to it to this day. Anything that happened before this album almost doesn’t even matter anymore, and anything that happens after this album is what the universe intended.”

Earlier this week, the 26-year-old was outed for his sexuality from artist Hugo D. Almonte, who alleged an intimate relationship with the singer and accused him of dishonesty. Almonte shared a selfie with Khalid, fueling further speculation online. Despite the uproar, Khalid chose to focus on self-empowerment rather than addressing the drama directly.

“I got outted and the world still continues to turn,” he wrote. “Let’s get this straight (lmao). I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality it ain’t nobodies business! But I am okay with me (heart emoji) love yall.”
