Lenny Kravitz recently revealed a wild story that happened during one of his tour stops.

Currently touring Australia in support of his album Blue Electric Light, Kravitz shared how a fan took out some of his hair.

Taking to Instagram, Kravitz told fans about an incident that occurred while he was performing “Let Love Rule.”

“Brisbane, that was wild,” Kravitz said in a video shared on his Instagram Stories. “A very excited young lady pulled four dreadlocks out of the back of my head. You know how hard you’ve got to pull to rip those out of my head? Damn, baby.”

Although he suffered some hair loss, the rock legend said he will return to the country.

“I’m not going to stop coming out there for ‘Let Love Rule’ because that’s our moment together,” he added. “Brisbane, you’re wild. I love you.”

Kravitz made his return to Australia for the first time since the 90s and performed in New Zealand for the first time.

“Coming to New Zealand for the first time and returning to Australia after so many years is giving my soul the most beautiful energy,” Kravitz wrote in an Instagram post on Nov. 21.

“You all are amazing. Thank you for sharing this with me. Let’s keep going!” he added.

His next performance is in Melbourne on Nov. 25, followed by Mildura and Adelaide for his final shows this year.

Kravitz will resume his tour in 2026, kicking it back off in Mexico City on March 14.

In his remarkable career, Kravitz has sold over 40 million albums sold worldwide. Also, he won the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for four consecutive years (1999–2002).

Solidifying his legendary status, Kravitz was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He also received his first nomination for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, though he was not inducted.
