Mariah Carey responds to the rumors that Eminem is “stressed” about the upcoming release of her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey.
Two were reportedly dating back in 2001, and since have not seen eye to eye. As we know the two have publicly traded shots at each over of the past years. Ahead of the release of the memoir, it was reported that Eminem was”stressed out” that she would talk about their relationship in the book, that she would mention “very negative things about him.”
Luckily for him, he has nothing to worry about. According to Vulture, Carey shares that Em shouldn’t be bothered. “It’s 300-plus meaning-packed pages, and, yes, what she didn’t include has meaning too,” the article reads. “Eminem, who was reportedly ‘stressed’ over what Carey might say about their rumored 2001 fling, doesn’t have to worry.”
Mariah says, “There’s some songs that I can sing in response to that, but I will not do it.” She added, “If somebody or something didn’t pertain to the actual meaning of Mariah Carey, as is the title, then they aren’t in the book.”
