Mariah Carey is making it clear that there is no chance of her reconciling with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.

During a recent interview, Cannon said that he was open to the idea of them getting back together after her break-up with Bryan Tanaka. “I mean, you gotta ask her!” the actor said. “Let me know what she says! Ask her, text me, we can talk through you. It’s Valentines is in the air, you can be the chocolate Cupid. Let’s do it, I’m with it.”

However, when hearing what Nick had to say, the “We Belong Together” singer said, “Remarrying? He’s making this up. This is him being silly.” She was then asked if she was happy being single, to which she responded, “What is he? My last hope?”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married in 2008 and later divorced in 2016. They share 12-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
