Mariska Hargitay is a real-life hero.

While doing a recent interview with “Today” the “Law and Order: SVU” actress along with anchor Willie Geist helped two disabled pedestrians near a Manhattan courthouse. A witness described the incident as “like an episode of Law & Order.”

Reports say that the first woman fell with her cane while in the crosswalk and Geist helped her help and walked her across the street. A few moments later, a man in an electric wheelchair lost control of his chair due to a wheel falling off.

“Mariska and Willie rushed to his aid and the cameraman, too,” the witness said. “Willie and the guy with the camera hoisted the man up in his chair while Mariska fixed the wheel.” A spokesperson from “Today” confirmed that the incident happened and explained that Geist and Hargitay were filming for an interview that will air on January 12, 2025.
