Mark Robinson has filed a lawsuit against CNN.

According to reports, Robinson is suing the news network over their recent story which accused him of making sexual and racial comments on a porn site, calling their claims defamatory. During a news conference in Raleigh, North Carolina, he announced the lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims that CNN “chose to publish despite knowing or recklessly disregarding that Lt. Gov Robinson’s data- including his name, date of birth, passwords, and the email address supposedly associated with the NudeAfrica account- were previously compromised by multiple data breaches.”

Reports claim that the North Carolina Gubernatorial Candidate had left comments on a message board in which he called himself a “black Nazi,” and said that he preferred Hitler over former president Barack Obama over a decade ago.

In an interview with CNN, Robinson claimed that he didn’t make those comments on the porn website. “This is not us. These are not our words. And this is not anything that is characteristic of me,” he said. “I’m not going to get into the minutia of how somebody manufactured this, these salacious tabloid lies.”

Robinson’s alleged comments come after he shared his stance on the use of public restrooms and believes that the corresponding genders should use the appropriate restroom. He also believes that transgender women should be arrested for using women’s bathrooms.
