Mary J. Blige’s time in Las Vegas is coming to an end.
According to PEOPLE, the legendary singer’s residency, “Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story: will conclude after a 20-date run at Dolby Live at Park MGM next year.
“This residency felt like divine timing,” Blige shared.
“I’ve seen so many of you in Vegas, and we still have 10 dates left,” Blige added. “I feel even more grateful and deeply inspired after every show.”
Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist packed with iconic hits like “Real Love,” “My Life,” “Be Without You,” “Family Affair,” and “Just Fine.”
In her announcement in January, Blige expressed her excitement in a statement.
“Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do,” said Blige. “It’s a chance to get my fans together from all over — different cities, states, and countries — to experience something together. My Life, My Story will be just that — with some surprises for my fans that have been there through it all.”
Previously, Blige lauded her fans for their loyalty over the years.
“It’s really about the fans. We’ve grown together. If it wasn’t for them, there would be none of this,” Blige said. “So it’s all about their reaction to the music that I’ve been putting out for years and just how much they love and support me. And as you can see, they don’t miss a beat. Sometimes I don’t even have to sing that much.”
Known as the “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul,” Mary J. Blige defined a generation by blending raw R&B with hip-hop. With over 100 million records sold, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer boasts nine Grammy Awards, historic dual Oscar nominations for Mudbound, and a legacy as an undisputed music and screen icon.
