In a recent interview with GQ, Michael B. Jordan reaffirmed his support for his Creed III co-star, Jonathan Majors, despite Majors’ recent legal troubles. Jordan praised Majors for his ability to stay strong through adversity.

Michael B. Jordan Expresses Support for Jonathan Majors

“I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it,” Jordan said. “I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy.”

Majors faced serious career setbacks following his December 2023 conviction for reckless assault and harassment. The verdict resulted in Marvel Studios severing ties with him, leading to his removal from the Kang the Conqueror role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Despite these issues, Jordan made it clear that their bond remains strong.

When asked if he would be open to working with Majors again, Jordan did not hesitate.

“Yes. Yes,” he responded simply but definitively.

Jordan and Majors developed a close friendship while working on Creed III, where Jordan made his directorial debut. Their on-screen chemistry was widely praised, and Jordan’s willingness to collaborate again shows his unwavering belief in Majors’ talent.

Reflecting on Their Bond

Jordan acknowledged how difficult it was to see Majors go through such a public legal battle but expressed relief that his friend is moving forward.

“It was tough to see it happen, but I was relieved to see him doing better,” Jordan said to the outlet.

Majors, who is now engaged to actress and model Meagan Good, is working to rebuild his career. Despite the controversies, Jordan remains optimistic about his friend’s future in the industry.

Jordan is currently focused on his own upcoming projects, including directing The Thomas Crown Affair remake and starring in Sinners, a film directed by Ryan Coogler. Meanwhile, Majors is preparing for the release of Magazine Dreams, marking his return to film.
