Mýa is hitting the road with the Pussycat Dolls.

The Grammy award-winning singer was announced as a special guest on The Pussycat Dolls’ long-awaited PCD Forever World Tour. She and Lil Kim will be joining the North American leg of the tour beginning in June,

In a statement, Mýa shared her excitement about joining the PCD Forever Tour with the Pussycat Dolls.

“I’m delighted to join the lovely Pussycat Dolls on the PCD Forever Tour with my dear soul-sista Lil’ Kim. It’s going to be a fun, hot summer! I’m so excited to celebrate the music that defined the 2000s,”  Mýa said.

“The Dolls have always delivered glamour, performance, and undeniable stage presence, and sharing the stage with Lil’ Kim again feels like a full-circle moment after ‘Lady Marmalade,” she continued. “I can’t wait to bring that same energy to the stage this summer while introducing new music from my new album Retrospect.”

MYA IS RELEASING HER NEW ALBUM

Most recently, Mýa performed at the Essence Black Women in Hollywood event and is set to release her tenth studio album, Retrospect, on May 1, 2026. She was also named one of Billboard’s “Top Female Artists of the 21st Century’ in 2025.

Now thriving as an independent artist, Mýa said she was inspired by Prince to go this path and bet on herself.

“When I first went independent, I didn’t necessarily know what it was and what it meant in totality. But when I did go independent, someone who called me knew what it was, and you knew the landscape,” Mýa told Sherri Shepherd.

“[He] wanted to pull me aside, to inspire me, but also reinforce that this is the way, and I’ll help you along the way. That artist was the artist we all know and love. His name is Prince.”

Mýa went on to share how being independent gave her the freedom that artists need.

“So I’m from the major label system. But independence has allowed me to have a sense of creative freedom. Also, knowing what’s going on and going out at all times,” she said. “My mother’s my accountant, and she keeps the books straight.”
