Mýa paid homage to Sade Adu with a stunning tribute photoshoot.
On Wednesday (Dec 27), the 44-year-old took to her account dressing as the Nigerian-born British hitmaker.
Channeling the spirit of Sade, Mýa shared a photo of herself rocking a slick back braided ponytail with a minimal make up look. The singer wore a pair of denim jeans pairing it with an oversized white work shirt comparable to Sade’s denim-on-denim fashion shoot in the 1980s. She sealed this look woth gold hooped earrings identical to Sade’s signature look.
Fans commented on how Mýa succesfully executed the look, even suggesting that she should play Sade in a biopic.
In the caption for the photoshoot, Mýa reminded fans that her song “Space,” which appeared on her 2014 EP With Love, is available to stream on all digital services.
