Nas has announced that he will be releasing a new album in celebration of his 50th birthday.
The album Magic 3 is the follow up to his July release Magic 2 and will be released on Thursday, September 14th. The Queens native went on his Instagram to tease fans about the upcoming album by calling the video, “The Finale.”
Fans began to speculate that the video was Nas announcing his retirement, however, it is the completion of his second consecutive trilogy of his Hit-Boy-produced albums, reports state. Hit-Boy and Nas worked together on King’s Disease and its two follow ups King’s Disease II and King’s Disease III.
Nas is getting ready to go on the North American Leg on his tour with the Wu-Tang Clan called NY State of Mind.
