Nelly and Ashanti are officially showing their love for each other on reality TV.

Set to premiere on June 26 on Peacock, the trailer for Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together was released, capturing the couple becoming new parents and how they reconciled after several years of separation.

The two-minute trailer also shows how the couple manages their careers as legendary artists who tour across the world.

While the couple is in a great place now, Ashanti explained that they had to leap over some major obstacles to get to this point.

“We were together off and on for 11 years, before the final [sic]…” Ashanti began.

“I hated her,” Nelly laughed.

I hated him,” Ashanti joked. “I didn’t think that we would get back together.”

“She got me y’all,” to which Ashanti quipped, “He wanted to get got.”

In July, Nelly and Ashanti had their son, Kenkaide “KK” Haynes, their first child together. After his birth, the couple revealed that they got married when they discovered they were expecting a child. In an interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, Nelly said that they decided to get married because he didn’t want Ashanti to be  a “baby mama.”

“Once we found out that she was pregnant, I was just like, yeah–We hadn’t talked about any of that yet,” Nelly explained. “But I was like, ‘Yo, you know what. Let’s just knock this out because we’re gonna be doing so much, and everything’s moving so fast.’ And I didn’t want her to be a baby mama.”

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Nelly and Ashanti shared how much of a joy their new addition is.

“He’s such an incredibly happy baby,” Ashanti said. “He smiles all the time.”

She also spoke about how KK  lights up whenever Nelly comes around.

“When he sees daddy, the vibe definitely changes,” she said.
