Nick Cannon is currently facing the wrath of the Bey-hive after his latest comments about the singer.
On his podcast, The Daily Cannon, Nick shared his thoughts on going to see Beyoncé on tour. “See, no offense, but I would rather go to a Bruno Mars show than a Beyoncé or a Taylor Swift [show],” Cannon said to his colleagues. After receiving backlash from the rest of his co-hosts, he explained that he is indeed a fan of Beyoncé but he feels like Bruno Mars has more hits than her. He added that Bruno Mars also has more hits than Taylor Swift
According to Insider, Cannon’s claims are a tad off. For the duration of Bruno Mar’s career, he has had quite a few hits. In total, he’s had 32 songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100. 18 of which have made the top 10, and eight of which have made it to No. 1. Although that is pretty impressive, it does not hold a candle to Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.
In Beyoncé’s solo career, she’s had 81 songs chart on the Billboard Hot 100. 21 of which have made the top 10, and eight of which have made it to No. 1. Swift blows both Bruno Mars and Beyoncé out of the water with a whopping 189 songs charted on the Billboard Hot 100. 40 of her songs have made the top 10, and nine of them have reached No. 1.
