Nick Cannon, the 44-year-old entertainer and father of 12, has taken an unconventional step to protect his legacy: insuring his testicles for $10 million. The announcement came during his appearance on the “Tea Time with Raven & Miranda” podcast, where he humorously referred to them as his “most valuable asset.”
A Unique Partnership
The insurance policy was facilitated through a collaboration with men’s grooming company Dr. Squatch. Utilizing their “Ball Valuation Tool,” the company assessed Cannon’s reproductive organs, leading to the substantial valuation. “It’s official! I have the most valuable balls in the world!” Cannon proclaimed on Instagram. Dr. Squatch even bestowed upon him the title of “Most Valuable Balls.”
Cannon explained the rationale behind the move: “I had to insure my most valuable assets,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Because you hear about all these different celebrities insuring their legs… so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.’”
Nick Cannon on Family and Future Plans
As a father to 12 children with multiple partners, including Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, and Alyssa Scott, Cannon’s decision reflects his commitment to his family. He emphasized that the insurance is a precautionary measure: “[I’m] just making sure nothing goes wrong,” he stated.
Despite public speculation, Cannon clarified that this move doesn’t necessarily indicate plans for more children. However, he did jest about the policy’s value, suggesting it should have been $12 million—one million for each child.
Cannon’s partner, Bre Tiesi, praised his dedication as a father: “He manages it really well,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s such a good person, genuinely, and he really cares and he does want to be there and he’s never gonna blow anything off.”
While some may view the insurance policy as a publicity stunt, Cannon sees it as a blend of humor and responsibility. “Haters say it’s time for me to stop having kids and put this super sperm to rest,” he remarked. “But I’m doubling down on these valuable balls and my future kids.”
