Moss emphasized the importance of routine checkups, especially for men. “All you men, man, y’all do your checkups and get your bloodwork done,” he urged in his social media post. The NFL legend’s comments resonated deeply with fans, as he appeared on ESPN wearing sunglasses amid growing speculation about his condition.

During his appearance on Sunday NFL Countdown, Moss addressed viewers directly. “You were talking about my eyes last week, and I just want to let the viewers know that me and my wife, me and my family, we are battling something internally,” Moss said. Fans had noticed a yellowish tint in his eyes during recent broadcasts, prompting Moss to explain his use of sunglasses. “It’s not being disrespectful,” he said. “I’m battling something. I need all the prayer warriors.”

A Legacy of Strength

Moss, 47, did not disclose specific details about his health but assured fans that he remains in high spirits. “I feel great,” he told his colleagues, joking and engaging as usual on the broadcast.

The announcement comes six years after Moss was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Renowned for his extraordinary talent, he set the NFL record for single-season receiving touchdowns in 2007 and ranks fourth all-time in career receiving yards with 15,292.

As fans rally around him, Moss continues to inspire, reminding everyone to take health seriously and face challenges with determination. “God bless you all, and thanks for the prayers,” he concluded.
