Snoh Aalegra & SZA are set to headline Sol Blume, one of the West Coast’s biggest R&B festivals.
Taking place May 3-5 in Sacramento, the Grammy-award nominees will set the tone for the highly anticipated three-day fest. Snoh Aalegra and SZA will be joined by Kaytraminé, the musical group featuring rapper Aminé and Haitian-Canadian producer Kaytranada.
The lineup also includes an appearance from Doechii, a rapidly rising rapper and singer whose multifaceted sound pulls from jersey club, house music and R&B. PinkPantheress, who blends hyperpop, garage and drum ‘n’ bass, will hit the stage. Other rising R&B acts include genre-bending standouts Kelela, Jordan Ward and Omar Apollo. Also taking the stage is Ari Lennox and singer-saxophone player Masego.
The Sol Blume line up announcement comes ahead of the 2024 Grammy Awards, where SZA is in the running to win Album of the Year. SZA leads the pack with nine nods including record of the year, song of the year and best R&B performance for Kill Bill – her revenge anthem cloaked in an R&B ballad.
Three-day passes go on sale Feb. 5.
