Social media is in shambles after Angela Bassett did not take home the Oscar for her role as Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Although Bassett was the first actor to be nominated for an Oscar from the Marvel collection, Jamie Lee Curtis took the award home for Everything Everywhere All at Once. Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors gave the actress flowers during the award show after her loss. “Hey, Auntie. We love you.”
After their recognition, fans of Bassett quickly went on social media to express how they felt about Angela Bassett being snubbed for the second time in her career. The first time, she was nominated for her portrayal of Tina Turner in the film, What’s Love Got To Do With It.
