Pop culture icon Tiffany “New York” Pollard is stepping into the DJ booth with her recently announced, “HBIC Tour.”
The seven-city tour kicks off in Atlanta on Jan 17 before stopping at Columbus, West Hollywood, San Diego, Scottsdale, Salt Lake City, and concluding in Austin on Jan 31.
In an promotional post, Tiffany promises to relive some of her iconic TV moments while helming the DJ booth. Fans can expect an exciting show and party given Tiffany’s larger-than-life persona.
Tiffany, a native of Utica, won over hearts on Flavor Flav’s dating show “Flavor of Love” in 2006. Her popularity rose so high that she received her own spinoff show, “I Love New York.” The season premiere in 2007 became the most watched series debut in VH1 history at the time.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Tiffany admitted that, though the moniker helped rocket her to stardom, she initially disliked the nickname Flav gave her on the first season of the dating series’.
“I f—ing hated it!” she said in October 2023. “I’m like, ‘Why is he calling me New York?’”
She added, “You’re giving this one the name of Bubbles, and Delicious, and all these sexual names. But as soon as I told him I’m from upstate New York, he goes, ‘Oh, I’m just gonna call you New York.’
Tiffany continued her run on the small screen by appearing in numerous reality series.
Her other credited projects include “New York Goes to Hollywood,” “New York Goes to Work,” “Botched” (where she sought to fix her breast implants), VH1’s “Brunch with Tiffany,” “Worst Cooks in America,” “House of Villains,” “Family Therapy,” “First Sunday,” “Scared Famous,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Ex on the Beach” and “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming.”
