Just when Tiger Woods fans thought he would be staying out of headlines, his ex-girlfriend switched it up. His previous love interest is now dropping a lawsuit against the golf star’s estate.
In court documents obtained by The New York Post Erica Herman is seeking $30 million in damages from the golf star’s estate for ousting her from his Florida mansion. She dismissed the case pending the result of her latest appeal of a judge’s order to throw out a separate lawsuit she filed to nullify a 2017 NDA she signed with Woods.
She first filed the suit against the Woods estate in 2022 as a complaint. She alleged that he violated the Landlord Tenant Act by tricking her into vacating his Jupiter Island mansion when they broke up. Herman claimed that she and Woods had an “oral tenancy agreement.” According to her, the agreement gave her the right to live at the house and that she had five years remaining on that agreement when they broke up.
In the new filing, Herman alleges Woods told her they were going on a vacation, but then locked the doors after she left with packed bags. Woods denies all claims and has even gone to lengths to call her a “jilted ex-girlfriend” in court documents.
