Back in April we reported that Tyrese hinted that a TGT album was on the way. It appears things are moving forward as planned.

Last week, Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank made the surprise announcement that they are officially back together as TGT. Not only have the fellas reunited as the R&B supergroup they first formed in 2007, they have plans to release new music and go on tour in 2024.

All three artists were booked as solo performers at the R&B Music Experience concert in Tampa, Florida on Friday, October 20th, and after the show, they gathered together backstage in Ginuwine’s dressing room to share the news.

In a video first posted to Ginuwine’s Instagram and later reposted by Tyrese and Tank, they had quite a lively reunion surrounded by friends and security.

“I knew it would happen I just want it to be perfect for each and every individual we come together to say we are Kings so let’s move forward I appreciate the love we get now let’s go!!!!,” Ginuwine captioned the photo.

Fans jumped in the comments to share their excitement:

“It’s time!!!! First album still go hard! Let’s Go!!!”

“#R&B is officially back with these 3 R&B Kings 🤴🏾announcing new projects.”

“Three Kings album still on ROTATION AND STILL THE DOPEST RNB ALBUM 🔥🔥🔥🔥”

Even Tyrese hopped in the comments to make it known that he’s been down to reunite.

“I’ve already committed before the cameras were rolling. Yes!” He did have one condition for his return, though. “Three splits down the middle. Equal. All across the board,” Tyrese said, making it plain that he needs the money to be right. The room full of people really went up at that moment, and Ginuwine embraced Tyrese in a big hug.

On his own Instagram page, Tyrese confirmed that a “Ladies Only” concert tour is coming in Summer 2024 and a new album from TGT. This will be the trio’s sophomore effort, following their 2013 debut Three Kings.
