Usher has really been winning lately. From his successful Las Vegas residency to taking his talents to Paris and now being announced as the 2024 Super Bowl headliner, he isn’t stopping! What’s also not stopping is his revenue.
TMZ reports that the musician’s songs have been seeing a surge in streaming since his Super Bowl announcement. The outlet says that Billboard revealed that his song streams have increased in the millions.
It’s about a 16% bump for Usher between Sunday, when the announcement was made, and Monday. His most-streamed song at the moment is his new single, Good Good, which is already on the Hot 100.
His songs like Yeah!, My Boo and DJ Got Us Fallin in Love saw increases of 962k streams, 527k streams, and 525k streams, respectively.
Usher will be performing at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. There were many speculations surrounding who would be chosen for the event, weeks prior to the announcement. The decision comes after there was a large debate on social media after last year’s halftime performance centering on Usher had enough hits to play the Super Bowl.
It seems as if he does.
