Vice President Kamala Harris officially conceded after her presidential loss to Donald Trump.
While on the steps of her alma mater, Howard University, VP Harris vowed that she would not give up on the fight to protect women’s rights, the school systems and the children, and the freedom of the people.
VP Harris also said that although the outcome of the election was not what they wanted, she was proud of the 107-day campaign. She also reminded the young people, “It is okay to feel sad and disappointed,” and added that the nation’s loyalty lies to the constitution and not to a party.
Vice President Harris said that she called presidential-elect Donald Trump to congratulate him on his win and told him that she would help him and his team with his transition and that it would be peaceful.
