THE CAPITOL RIOTS
On January 6, 2021, Trump supporters stormed the United States Capitol. According to Washington Post, the head of intelligence at D.C.’s homeland security Donell Harvin expressed how his office was being inundated with political threats and plans to disrupt or hurt lawmakers.
To date prosectors have charged over 700 people in more than 45 states whom participated in the January 6 riot. Arrests are being made daily.
