Brandy:
Brandy had fans worried this week when reports surfaced that she was hospitalized after having a seizure. She later spoke out online and thanked everyone for their love and light. She said, quote, “I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon.” – Details around the health scare are unclear, sending her a speedy recovery.
Lizzo:
Lizzo had an interview with Vanity Fair and addressed people who say she makes music for “white people.” Lizzo said she makes music from her Black experience because “we as, Black people need to heal from being the most marginalized and neglected people in this country.”
Lizzo said, “We need self-love and self-love anthems more than anybody.” She continued, “It blows my mind when people say I’m not making music from a Black perspective—how could I not do that as a Black artist?” She also mentioned mega stars like Beyoncè, Diana Ross, and some rap artists having a predominantly white audience. Tia Mowry:
Tia Mowry is letting it be known she’ll always have a love for her ex-husband Cory Hardict. They shared a sweet exchange online, a week after Tia announced after 14 years of marriage she’s separating from him. Tia thanked fans for their support and well wishes, Cory replied in the comment section, with a black heart. Tia wrote back, “I love you.”
Lauryn Hill:
Lauryn Hill hit the stage at the ONE Music festival in Atlanta and her set was amazing. One of the cutest moments was while she performed “To Zion,” which we all know is about her choice to keep her first child. During her set, Zion came out and gave her a hug, and then he brought out his children. Lauryn was loving up on her grandbabies, check out the video:

Cardi B:
Cardi B had a birthday party in Hollywood this past week, and all the stars were out but Jamie Foxx, was denied entry. The venue claims the party was at capacity and he arrived with 10 guests of his own. The incident was captured on video, see it now:

Cynthia Bailey and her husband sports journalist Mike Hill, announced Wednesday that they have split. The news comes after Mike was spotted getting flirty with another woman. The split also comes after they would have celebrated their second wedding anniversary this month.
They wrote a statement online and said, “No one is to blame and we are grateful that we remain good friends. We will always cherish the many memories we’ve shared together as husband and wife.” Over the spring she said she wasn’t planning on returning to RHOA, but do u think she’ll have a change of heart?
