It’s no secret that the Carters will lend a helping hand whenever needed! This time is no different. The power couple help raise over $6 million for an organization that focuses on cancer research and treatment. The organization is called City of Hope.
Jay and Bey reportedly held a star-studded gala, which resulted in the couple being able to raise the money. Some of favorite celebs were in the building including Dr. Dre, Tiffany Haddish, Usher, Quincy Jones, Kelly Rowland and more.
The CEO of the organization says that the couple joined “immediately” to help support the cause, “We find partners in the honorees and the honorees help arrange the talent. So Jon Platt is a tremendous partner and compassionate and passionate person who’s joined this fight all in. And Jon’s the one who made the call to Beyonce and Jay-Z, who said yes immediately.”
