Doja Cat To Be Featured On SZA’s New Single ‘Shirt’

The Grammy Award winning duo have reunited.

On Sunday the TDE queen, SZA, performed at the Mad Cool Festival,  a Spanish rock, indie and pop festival held annually in Madrid. During SZA’s performance, she revealed that Doja Cat will be joining her on her anticipated single ‘Bloodstain/Shirt’.

“Want to know a secret? You all want to know who’s on this song? It’ll be like our secret, right?” she told the crowd. “The hint is we already have a song together. Her name starts with a ‘D’ and it rhymes with Soulja.”

The New Jersey hitmaker shared unreleased singles in 2021, in celebration of the fifth anniversary of ‘CTRL’. On an anonymous Soundcloud account, the singer discretely dropped ‘Nightbird’, ‘I Hate You’, and ‘Joni’. She tweeted that these were ‘random thoughts’ and not necessarily songs that would be on her new project.

However, ‘Shirt’, which can be heard towards the end of the ‘Good Days’ music video, has been highly requested from her fans. The unreleased tracks emerged after her live streamed In Bloom performance, a sponsorship with Grey Goose.

As you may recall, Doja and SZA won a Grammy for their pop hit ‘Kiss Me More’ for Best Pop Duo/Group. That was a first Grammy win for both singers.

Will this reunion yield another golden gramophone win?
