Beyoncé took the crown for Halloween this year, yet again. If you’re unfamiliar, every year Queen Bey pays homage to influential women on Halloween. This year she dressed as the living legend Toni Braxton, as well as Olympic track runner legend, Florence Griffith Joyner, also known as Flo Jo.
Slay Bey! Beyoncé emulated the outfit Flo Jo wore when she was crowned the fastest woman on earth.
Flo Jo’s daughter, Mary Jo Joyner, took to Instagram to post a big thank you to Bey for paying tribute to her mother! She thanks Bey for giving her mother the ‘recognition’ her mothers deserves.
