Are you ready for the Fox hit TV series Empire to be over?
According to Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier, Empire will end with it’s sixth season.
“We are turning the final season into a television event. One of the great benefits of announcing a final season announce have the fans lean in have the finale they desire.”
When asked whether or not Jussie Smollett would make a return in the final season, Collier’s responded, “There’s an option to have Jussie in the series but we have no plans for that.”
Keep in mind that the writers room has yet to be opened for season 6, therefore Smollett’s return is still up in the air.
