The ladies of Rhythm & Views have decided to give roses to the multi-talented, Kiana Ledé.
Ledé is an actress, singer, and songwriter, who got her big break in 2011 after her mother uploaded a video of her performing an original song for a Kidz Bop competition. She was selected to be a finalist in the competition and went on to when the grand prize in the largest national talent competition for kids 15 and under.
Since then, her career has skyrocketed. In 2012, she released her first single, “Hey Chicka” and performed it on the Today Show and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. After experiencing some ups and downs throughout her career, Kiana Ledé signed with Republic Records and released her debut EP Selfless in July 2018, which includes her breakout song “EX”.
She has opened for acts such as Ro James and Ella Mai and worked with Lucky Daye, Ari Lennox, and 6lack.
She went on to release another EP in June 2019 and her debut album Kiki in 2020. Ledé recently announced that she is getting ready to release her sophomore album called “Grudges.”
On her Instagram with a photo of the album art, she wrote, “Sometimes you gotta face yourself.”
The album is set to have 17 tracks on it including, “Jealous” featuring Ella Mai, “Irresponsible”, and “Deeper.” The album will be released on June 16th. Get ready to hear more from Kiana Ledé, she is proving that she is here to stay.
