Holly Robinson-Peete Confirms That Raven Symone and Mark Curry Are All In For A ‘Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper’ Reboot

Remember the 90’s sitcom Hangin With Mr. Cooper? Well, some of the cast members are on board to do a reboot, according to Holly Robinson- Peete. 

The actress recently spoke with Hollywood Life during a TVTalk episode on Instagram Live and spilled that her former co-stars Raven Symone and Mark Curry are all in for doing a reboot. 

“He wants to do it,” Robinson-Peete said. “Raven Symone said she would do it, so we’re just waiting on Warner Brothers to give us a green light.” 

She went on to speak about her friendship with Curry over the years since the show ended. “I hang out with Mark Curry all of the time in real life. I still hang with Mr. Cooper very often and we are buddies ‘til we die. I love it.” 

Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper aired on ABC in 1992 and ran until 1997. It was a part of the TGIF Friday night lineup. The show was about a professional basketball player who became a gym teacher and later a high school coach. 

Holly Robinson-Peete played the role of Vanessa, Cooper’s roommate, and eventual love interest, while Raven played Cooper’s cousin Nicole Lee.
